Short version: Twenty-something with a passion for humans, laughter, folk music, airplanes, and food.
Rambling long-version-that-doesn't-go-anywhere-at-the-moment-because-I-will-edit-this-50-times-before-the-words-are-just-right: I'm a college student majoring in Linguistics. Growing up I loved learning bits and pieces of foreign languages and geography was one of my favorite subjects. I spent hours reading and re-reading 'Children Just Like Me' by Barnabas and Anabel Kindersley. My mom found the 'Wee Sing Around the World' CD and I listened to those songs over and over, trying to work on my pronunciation so I would sound just like the Japanese, Turkish, and Swedish singers. The number one way to give me a big head is to tell me I sound like a native speaker of whatever language I may be attempting to try. The best thing about foreign languages, aside from the critical thinking skills it develops, is the communication with people. I love people. I love listening to their stories. Anyone, any where. People inspire me. People grow me. People change me. People make me strive to be the best version of myself that I can be.
